Noah's ark for preschoolers

This week, our bible lesson was Noah's Ark.  The kids were already pretty familiar with the story, but we did a couple of crafts just to reinforce it.
I found a ceramic cat and dog from Melissa and Doug on sale at Kohls.  I was super excited because the kids LOVE to paint and I could easily tie this into our lesson.  So, we talked about the animals on the ark.

Suprisingly, they actually got tired of painting.  They prefer paper/canvas.  Go figure.

The second project was to make a rainbow which symbolizes God's promise to never flood the earth again.  This was more fun as they also love glue.

Next week:  The Tower of Babble
